Planning your perfect Caribbean boat proposal

As one of the most beautiful places in the world, the Caribbean is a perfect spot to propose to your future ‘to-be’. And what better way than to plan a Caribbean boat proposal onboard one of our catamarans, surrounded by the best parts that our islands have to offer.

Planning your holiday can take quite some time, let alone if you are planning to propose. Additionally, it can be quite hard to prepare such a special moment when you are not familiar with your holiday destination.

We offer custimized trips for all our charters, which means we can help you into the fine detail of making your moment extra magical. Here are some things to take into consideration when choosing a boat trip with us, and some other useful information to help you decide:

DESTINATION PARADISE

Your boat trip will be great wherever you decide to go. Our three destinations are Saint Martin / Sint Maarten, Anguilla and St Barth; each have their unique qualities, though all are stunning and have great anchorages for the perfect proposal.

Depending on where your journey starts, you can decide to visit one of the other islands, or cruise the local coastline. Depending on the weather, we will take you to the calmer bays or little islets around the main islands. Anguilla for instance has stunning smaller islands such as Scrub Island (our favorite) as well as Prickly pear, Sandy Island and Dog Island. Saint Martin too has islets such as Creale rock, Tintamare and Pinel. And likewise, Saint Barth has a stunning island off its west coast named Ile Fourchue.

TRIP TYPE

Our trips range from a 2-hour sunset tapas cruise to full day, or go fo and overnight charter for up to 1 week.

The sunset tapas trip is a stunning way to experience the sunset whilst enjoying our signature cocktails and gourmet tapas, though do note that for the shorter trips, you will only be able to cruise the coastline of the island you start your trip with.

THE DETAILS

Once you’ve selected the charter type, we can start looking at the details. Based on your preferences, we can decide as to how you would like to lay out you trip.

Often we recommend to do ‘the do’ in the first part of the day, so that you and your ‘to-be’ can enjoy the rest of the day in the afterglow of the “yes, I do”.

Some of the things we keep in mind to plan for your day:

- How much your day do you want it to be planned, or do you prefer to keep an element of ‘go with the flow’?

- Do you have any particular playlist with your favourite song(s) and any specific proposal song? We have bluetooth speakers making it very easy for you to connect your devices and be in charge of the music. Or, share your Spotify playlist with us and we’ll take care of it.

- Do you have any specific drink you’d like to celebrate with? For instance, a cocktail that brings up memories of how you met, or perhaps some traditional but classy bubbles?

- Would you like the onboard crew to be interactive with you, or rather give you the privacy and be ready to serve you in the background?

Apart from that, we also realize that not everyone wants the same things. So we’ve created a range of different add-ons allowing you to make your trip extra personal. Some of our extra options include:

- Live music: we work with an incredible harpist and guitar player, both also accompanied with (or without) vocals

- Water toys: For the active and adventurous, you can add the rental of a Seabob, underwater scooter, or jet ski.

- Dining options: fancy some extra options such as a charcuterie board or a delicious cake?

- Bottle service: Outside of our open bar, we also offer bottle service for those who want to go the extra mile with some of our top-end brands such as Clase Azul and Allkkemist.

- Photography: Would you like to have your special day and moment captured? We offer both an inhouse and professional photographer who will capture the day through both photos and drone footage (see our gallery below for some of the photography footage!)

The unlisted option: It’s important for us to know that each trip can remain unique on their own, and therefore your request that isn’t listed, is something we will gladly take into consideration. Just send us an email and we can discuss your special request and hopefully bring this to fruition!
