We spent the day aboard a beautiful catamaran exploring some of the most stunning turquoise water we’ve ever seen. The crew anchored at a secluded beach where we had time to swim, relax, and take in the scenery before enjoying an amazing lunch of ribeye and lobster tail prepared onboard.
After lunch, we headed out for snorkeling and were able to explore crystal-clear water and marine life in a setting that felt straight out of a postcard. To top it all off, we enjoyed dessert while cruising back toward shore, soaking in the views and reflecting on a perfect day.
Great crew, great food, beautiful water, and memories we’ll never forget. If you’re looking for a relaxing and unforgettable experience, this is it.

The crew – Capt Thomas and Paula were extremely friendly, thoughtful, and professional.
They made us feel welcome and part a family than simply clients.

The best boat and service we experienced in all our visits to the islands
This year, we hit very heavy traffic (coming from the French side it can take over an hour during rush hour) and did not make it to their typical departure location. They called us and confirmed we’d not make it in time before the bridge were set to open so they arranged for us to meet near by and picked us up rather than missing out on the trip. Absolutely impeccable service and were totally upbeat and understanding about the situation.
During the day they provide a great spread for breakfast, lunch and snacks. They also have quite a variety of drink offerings with custom cocktails, beer, mixed drinks and cappuccino/coffee in the morning. If you want to do a day trip catamaran with a great crew of people, this is it, 10/10 and will go to them again.
Lunch was exceptional as well.

There were four of us, and we loved the experience. Everything was absolutely perfect. The catamaran was extremely comfortable, the scenery and beach in Anguilla were magnificent, the crew (PAM and Erwan) were lovely and attentive, and breakfast and lunch were delicious (the BBQ lobster was EXCEPTIONAL!!). The cocktails prepared by PAM were unlimited and super tasty!

We were celebrating our friend Tracy’s 50th birthday with 11 of us on their voyager cat.
The entire staff could simply have not been more attentive, joyous and expert in their craft. From the very first minute until we sadly waved goodbye on the dock, they made every moment special. We have done trips like this perhaps 7 or 8 times in different locations and this was a new standard.
Max and the crew did an incredible job with the food and drink as well. Lunch and snacks were plentiful and just outstanding. We recommend the steak or lobster for lunch if it’s offered.

How many guests can your catamarans accommodate?
Our catamarans can accommodate up to 6 guests for stays of up to a week in three comfortable cabins. Each cabin features a queen-size bed, private en-suite bathroom with toilet and shower, and air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay on board.
Is the charter private?
Yes. All of our overnight charters are completely private. The catamaran, crew, and itinerary are exclusively reserved for your group, whether you’re traveling as a couple, a family, or a group of friends. You will not share the boat with other guests.
What does a fully crewed half-board charter include?
A fully crewed half-board charter is designed to offer a seamless and stress-free sailing vacation while giving you the freedom to enjoy some of the Caribbean’s best restaurants ashore.
Your charter includes a professional captain and hostess/chef, accommodation onboard, daily breakfast and one gourmet meal per day, a fully stocked bar, fuel, cruising permits and clearances, marine park fees, docking fees for embarkation and disembarkation, taxes, after-charter cleaning, and standard onboard supplies.
You will also enjoy a selection of water activities, including snorkeling gear, two paddle boards, a kayak, and a floating mattress.
The only expense not included is one meal per day, allowing you to discover the unique culinary scene of the islands you visit. Your itinerary is fully customized to your preferences, ensuring a personalized Caribbean sailing experience from start to finish.
What is not included in a fully crewed half-board charter?
As part of our half-board experience, one meal per day is intentionally left open, giving you the opportunity to discover the islands’ renowned restaurants, beach bars, and local culinary experiences at your own pace. Any food and beverages consumed away from the boat are therefore not included.
Other expenses not included are flights, hotels before or after your charter, and ground transportation.
Crew gratuity is also not included. A gratuity of 15-20% of the charter price is customary and is always left to the charterer’s discretion. Gratuities are typically presented to the captain at the end of the charter and shared among the crew.
Is there Wi-Fi on board?
Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available on board both Galaxy and Amari, allowing you to stay connected throughout your charter.
What is a typical day like on board?
Every charter is different, but a typical day often begins with breakfast in a peaceful bay, followed by swimming, snorkeling, paddleboarding, or cruising to your next destination.
You might spend the afternoon exploring a secluded beach, enjoying lunch on board, shopping in charming island boutiques, partying at a beach club, or simply unwinding on deck with a cocktail in hand. As the sun sets, you’ll anchor in a beautiful location for dinner, sunset drinks, and a quiet evening under the stars. Alternatively, we can anchor in a lively bay where you can head ashore to enjoy dinner at one of the island’s restaurants.
The best part is that the pace is entirely up to you. Whether you prefer adventure, relaxation, island hopping, vibrant beach clubs, or a mix of everything, your itinerary is tailored to your preferences.
Can we customize our itinerary?
Absolutely! Every Pyratz charter is private and fully customizable. Before your trip, we’ll discuss your preferences and interests to create an itinerary tailored to your group.
The destinations we can visit depend primarily on the length of your charter. During a full-week charter, it’s usually possible to explore all three islands: Sint Maarten/St Martin, Anguilla, and St Barths. For a one-night charter, we recommend focusing on a single destination. For a two-night charter, visiting two islands is possible, although we generally recommend spending more time in one area to fully enjoy the experience rather than rushing between destinations.
If you would like to visit both Anguilla and St Barths, we recommend a minimum of three nights. The crossing between these two islands is relatively long and can sometimes be rocky, so we typically include a stop in St Martin along the way to create a more comfortable and enjoyable itinerary.
While we always do our best to follow the planned itinerary, weather and sea conditions ultimately guide our route. Guest comfort and safety are our top priorities. If conditions require adjustments, your captain may recommend alternative anchorages or destinations, often selecting calmer bays and more sheltered areas to ensure the most pleasant experience possible.
Can we choose what we eat or make special requests?
Absolutely. Once your charter is confirmed, we will send you a preference sheet to help us tailor the experience to your tastes and needs. This is where you can tell us about your favorite foods and drinks, any items you dislike, as well as any allergies, dietary restrictions, or intolerances.
Based on your preferences, our crew will create a personalized menu for your charter. We usually like to keep the menu as a surprise, adding an extra touch of excitement to the experience, but if you prefer, you can request to receive the menu before your trip.
You’re also welcome to make special requests through the preference sheet. While we do our best to accommodate them, some premium ingredients, rare products, or specific requests may be subject to an additional charge.
Can I bring children on board?
Absolutely! Our charters are a wonderful way for families to spend quality time together and create unforgettable memories at sea. Children are welcome on board, and many of our activities, such as snorkeling, paddleboarding, swimming, and exploring secluded beaches, can be enjoyed by guests of all ages.
Our crew will naturally interact with younger guests, help them feel comfortable on board, and ensure everyone has a great experience. However, parents or guardians remain responsible for supervising their children at all times. While our crew is always happy to assist and accommodate families, they are not able to provide childcare or babysitting services.
If you are traveling with young children, please let us know in advance so we can help prepare the boat and tailor the experience to your family’s needs.
What do I have to bring for my sailing trip?
We recommend bringing lightweight clothing, swimwear, sunglasses, a hat, and any personal toiletries or medications you may need during your trip.
For evenings ashore, you may wish to bring a casual outfit for dining at local restaurants, as well as a nicer outfit if you’d like to enjoy one of St Barths’ renowned beach clubs or fine dining restaurants. Comfortable shoes are also recommended for exploring the islands, and a light jacket or sweater can be useful for breezy evenings on deck.
We also recommend bringing your phone and electronic device charging cables, as well as a USB charger that plugs into a 12V outlet.
Please pack in soft luggage only. Hard-shell suitcases cannot be properly stored on board and take up valuable space in the cabins. Soft duffel bags or foldable luggage are essential for a comfortable stay.

Both Galaxy and Amari offer the same Pyratz experience: a private, fully crewed charter with personalized service, gourmet dining, water activities, and a customized itinerary. The main differences lie in the boats themselves and the onboard amenities.
Galaxy is our motor catamaran, perfect for guests looking for a comfortable and intimate Caribbean escape. She accommodates up to 6 guests in three private cabins and is ideal for shorter getaways and weekend adventures.
Amari is our sailing catamaran and our most premium overnight charter option. While she also accommodates up to 6 guests in three private cabins, she offers additional amenities and living spaces designed to enhance comfort during longer stays on board.
Among Amari’s premium features are:

What happens if the weather is bad?
Your safety and comfort are always our top priorities. While we do our best to follow the planned itinerary, weather and sea conditions may require adjustments along the way.
Our captain continuously monitors the forecast and may recommend alternative routes, destinations, or anchorages to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. In many cases, we can simply relocate to calmer bays or more sheltered areas while still allowing you to enjoy the beauty of the islands.
In the rare event that weather conditions make the charter unsafe, we will work with you to find the best possible solution: reschedule if possible, or full refund.
