Comments

Our site has no comments active, but in case it had, when visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. This is a default feature from the Content Management System we use. 

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using Gravatar.

The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, and if you have a Gravatar account, your profile picture on Gravatar is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Who we share your data with

The booking system that our site uses is powered by Bookeo.com. This booking system offers real-time availability of our charters and smoothes the booking process for us and for our users. 

When you fill-up a booking request on our site using their system, your data will be processed by Bookeo and sent to us through their systems. 

In case you don’t want to book through the booking engine provided by Bookeo, contact us directly and we will proceed to check availability manually for you without you having to interact with our booking engine. 

Also, in case you are interested in one of our charters, and that charter means hiring a third party company (accommodation on land, extra services onboard…) for obvious reasons we may have to share your contact details with those other service providers. 

How long we retain your data

We don’t have comments active, but in case we had, if you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments from you automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, or have contacted us through our contact form, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.

You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, tax-wise or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments, in case they are active, may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

As mentioned above, if you use our booking system, the data will be processed by Bookeo (the booking system provider). In case you don’t want to use this system, just contact us directly by phone or email and we will check availability for you manually.

How we protect your data

The site uses an SSL connection, so the connection between the users and us is encrypted.

The hosting provider for the site is OVH Cloud, and we have automatic back-ups set so no data is lost in case of problems with the site.
