Our most demanded trips for boat proposals range from a 2-hour sunset tapas boat cruise to a full-day charter or go for an overnight charter for up to 1 week.
The sunset tapas cruise around St Martin is a stunning way to experience the sunset whilst enjoying our signature cocktails and gourmet tapas, though do note that for the shorter trips, you will only be able to cruise the coastline of the island you start your trip with.

Once you’ve selected the charter type, we can start looking at the details. Based on your preferences, we can decide how you would like to lay out your trip.
Often we recommend doing “the do” in the first part of the day so that you and your “to-be” can enjoy the rest of the day in the afterglow of the “yes, I do”.
Some of the things we keep in mind to plan for your day:
- How much of your day do you want to be planned, or do you prefer to keep an element of ‘go with the flow
- Do you have any particular playlist with your favourite song(s) and any specific proposal song? We have bluetooth speakers making it very easy for you to connect your devices and be in charge of the music. Or, share your Spotify playlist with us and we’ll take care of it.
- Do you have any specific drink you’d like to celebrate with? For instance, a cocktail that brings up memories of how you met, or perhaps some traditional bubbles?
- Would you like the onboard crew to be interactive with you, or rather give you the privacy and be ready to serve you in the background?
Apart from that, we also realize that not everyone wants the same things. So we’ve created a range of different add-ons allowing you to make your trip extra personal.
Some of our extra options include:
- Live music: We work with an incredible harpist and guitar player, with instrumental music only, or accompanied by vocals.
Water toys: For the active and adventurous, you can add the rental of a Seabob, underwater scooter, or jet ski.
Dining options: Fancy some extra options such as a charcuterie board or a delicious cake?
Bottle service: Outside of our open bar, we also offer bottle service for those who want to go the extra mile with some of our top-end brands such as Clase Azul and Allkkemist. - Photography: Would you like to have your special day and moment captured? We offer both an inhouse and professional photographer who will capture the day through both photos and drone footage.

Do I need to bring my own champagne?
No, don’t worry about bringing your own champagne, we got your covered!
Do I need to let you know what time I will be proposing?
Yes, if you have any specific requests for the Pyratz team.
We would love to help and make it happen for you, just ask us whatever you need and we will set it up.
Are the sunset cruises long enough for me to propose?
Yes, you will have plenty of time.
For example, for our Tapas Sunset Cruise, we leave at 4:15pm and cruise to one of the nearby bays in the Sout West area / coastline. We arrive back on the shore at around 6:15pm, so you will be around 2 hours onboard with us.
The Sunset Dinner Cruises are longer (from 4.30PM till 8.30PM), giving extra time after you proposed.
Will there be a photographer onboard? Is this inclusive or optional?
This is available as an add-on starting at $450, but we also have different packages of other extra services you can include in your experience. You can check all our add-ons and extras for special occasions in our Discovery page.
