Sustainability – Pyratz was born with sustainability in mind. Having repurposed two hurricane-damaged boats into as-good-as-new charter boats, the company started with the aim to support sustainable tourism.
Furthermore, with the environment being a key factor to the companies’ success, we have found the necessity of environmental awareness to be non-negotiable.
Our Promise
With growth comes great opportunity to explore new ways to find and offer sustainable solutions within our business model.
Though we are still in the process of putting together our Sustainbility report, we did want to already create this space on our new website for when its ready.
Our goal with sharing our Sustainability Report is to transparantly show you what is important to us, and give a good view of where we want to grow towards in the coming years.
- Reef friendly (not safe) sunscreen
- No single-use crockery and tableware: we only use reusable tableware.
- Reusable decorations for celebrations
- Solar panels onboard for the powering of onboard lighting and low consumption appliances.
- Engine : We run our boats with low consumption engines → is this eco friendlier
